Post silverado hd towing ?

Here's the situation I have a 04 silverado 1500hd 6.0 4l80e 14 bolt 4wd with 3.73 gears lifted about 8 " on 22x14s on 35s truck is fbo right with long tube headers and hp tuners now been wanting to turbo my truck so I can tow with it every once in a while what would you guys recommend i use to pull my 33 ft bumper pull about 10-11k and truck felt like it needed more power sometimes and now I sold it and bought a new 36 ft 5th wheel weighs about 12k and now thinking of going fi. I don't really want to buy a diesel being that I don't want a 1k dollar payment that's why i want to try and get this one to tow better it already has helper bags etc.
Sometimes I tow my other truck around so any extra power would help. Thanks in advance

i think a tvs 1900 would be a good choice..it would give you extra power all the way through the powerband especially down low where you need it.

First off, sweet trucks! Both of them look very nicely built. Secondly, check out this thread for a good discussion on turbos and towing. I've been researching it myself and got some really good feedback from some of the more experienced guys here.

Turbo FOR towing (not AND towing)...ala Ecoboost - PerformanceTrucks.net Forums

Haha, you'll notice I started off almost EXACTLY like you. I DON'T WANT A DIESEL LOL

My Magnacharger is an Eaton 112 on a 5.3 and 4L80E, it has plenty of power down low and across the power band for towing I think a TVS 1900 would be perfect for towing.

4.88's, biggest trans cooler you can get, quality tune, LT's, blower.

imho gears make the biggest difference for the $ spent, and really do lend to overall longevity of the drivetrain.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions as far as the trucks thanks I've had lots of fun in both of them my ss clone is a 6.0 aluminum block with p@p ls3 head/cam fbo built tranny with 4k pi multi disc stall and much more runs really good for a crew cab, and they'res some good info on that link you posted up has anyone run that on3performance turbo kit I already have a brand new tial bov so would just need a wastegate and the turbo.

Just thinking outside the box here on something else, a lighter wheel/tire combo can do alot aswell.

Yeah I'm not going to argue with that these 22x14s are real heavy
