Yes if it is a actual camper and is 30ft it is way to much for your truck to tow.

24-26 ft should be max length because of the short wheel base of the truck. Weight is a big factor too. You will need a good weight distributing hitch if you are towing anything over about 3000 lbs. You will also need a brake controller for the trailer brakes.

Yea 30' is way to much, I pull my 30' travel trailer with a e250 van and it barely tows it. I would say 24' max and weight is the biggest thing cause when them 18 wheelers fly by you that trailer gonna be swinging you around.

The old owner of our drag strip was killed from his too big and too heavy loaded race car trailer passing his regular cab tow rig @ 70 and flipping, his wife was in it and severally injured I believe.

Yeh the prob isn't that the truck is incapable of doing it, but it is the weight of the load vs that of the truck, short wheel base is a PITA to tow a heavy load with.. Just not safe. It is no fun getting the death wobble or having a trailer come around yah..

I agree with ya. I knew something happen due my wheelbase is short and don't want be overload. Ill just get a used chevy 2500 with 4 doors or 1500HD are same as 2500 of suspension.
