cool, i just got my truck and im tryin to learn about all this technical stuff, so wen i wanna do something to my truck or fix it, i will know what to do instead of getting ripped of at a 4 wheel parts or autoshop. so thats why im beginning to love this site.

the problem i have with a suspension lift is the money, also have a camaro that im in the process of building now that it's not my dd...so the money swings like this, camaro-90, truck 10%...

you should look at what i have done to my blue silverado... i have a 3" body lift, add-a-leaf in the back adn tbars cranked up in the front. i have 285/75/16s

with the tires that are on in that picture its awesome, i had a set of all terrains on there before and it didnt go for ****. those are the mudders, they work awesome but it just sucks that they wear so damn fast. ive found the V6 doesnt really make that much of a difference because i have wheeld in nbs V8s before and ive found that its not that much diff... dont get me wrong, i wish it was a V8 but wat can ya do... i think that trucks gonna ahve to go bye byes though, me and my wife are trying to get a house and its so damn tight since shes still in school

Stock truck: crank your torsion bars, get some 16x8's since you have an 03, and some 285/75/16's. They'll fit fine, if anything you'll rub either your front valence which is common or the front of the driver side wheel well, simple trimming will solve this problem.
As far as stance goes, I love the way mine looks. I'm running 16x8 Weld Outbacks, 4.5" bs, 285/75/16 Pro Comp X-Terrains.
