OBS Tahoe brake upgrades??
#1
So far ive been told as far as brake upgrades i would have to do alot of welding a cutting. Mainly swapping to six lug on all four corners to be able to do anything brake upgrade wise. These drums and disks just dont cut it with the rotational mass i bring to the table.
Anyone have any ideas?? Its been a while since i've looked around for a kit, i know drilled and sloted rotors are available (i dont run ABS so i use 90 sing cab silvy rotors and save a TON over the rotors with the sensors in em)
Eventually id like to be able to stop before i say, roll over a cliff or plow through a guard rail or something to that effect.
I may just end up going six lug swap route. It would also open a whole new world of rim options.... *sigh* why do i have to be different and do a one off prerunner build? Oh yeah thats right, cause stock is just plain wrong!
