It's a truck . . . . not a Honda.

I guess im not your typical SS owner. I actually use the bed of my truck and tow ****. Plus im not rolling on 22s or 24s but I guess Im not a rapper like the other SS owners, im just a silly redneck.
so I guess you looked at it the same way I did when they came out, "GM's putting AWD in their performance truck? That means it ought to make it to the deer stand pretty quick!"

This is great! Used to go off-roading in my 79 Monte Carlo!! Got busted driving through a corn field in my 72 Monte as well.
It is still a truck like you stated.

I almost bought a SS when i bought my z71 but nobody(offroad shops) if they could lift it so that i could go out to the desert with more power and better looks. PS my wife's SS is used to tow the boat as well.

hahaha you crazy bastard! That's grand. Basically any 4wd lift will bolt on correctly, but idk about driveline issues. JD Fab built an SS w/ ~15" of travel up front while retaining 4wd. http://jdfabrication.com/photos/SS/SS.asp

Idk about where you guys live, but when you go mudding out here you have to pressure wash it before it dries because we dont have much dirt, mostly clay.
