Default LQ4 Torque converter

I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong category. I have 1999 GMC SIERRA 2500 SLT 4x4 Vortec 6.0 (Vin has "U") with 215k miles. Had the torque converter replaced some 30k miles /2years (out of warranty) ago by a local GMC Dealer. After recently hearing lower engine noise removed engine to find the torque converter bolts ran loose from what appeared to be they forgot to torque the bolts and/or failed to properly loc-tite. My question is it to late to mention to the Dealer or should I go ahead and suck it ,rebuild the engine and carry on ?
