For a 2wd truck, get a 7" Procomp or 7" Fabtech full drop kit. I wouldn't suggest a kit that uses lift spindles and coils, stay away from them
Ok, well I'm glad you know your ****. Now that you clearified that why don't you tell me what I said that wasn't true? The ranch kit is a 4" kit that you can crank to get the full 6". Many lift kits are like that. The differential is dropped 4" and you can crank your torsion bars another couple inches.

I'll be waiting for your response since what I said was incorrect.

The lower arms are dropped 6 inches and a new, longer, steering knuckle is used to make up the distance between the uppper and lower arms. Most installers will mark the torsion bar adjustment bolts and upon reinstallation of the bars/bolts, guess what? It sit 6 inches higher. Differential drop has no effect on lift. No cranking is needed to get 6" out of a Rancho.

Cheers

I'm in the same situation you are right now. I have an 05' GMC Sierra and am looking at long travel front ends as well. CST and Camburg are both good kits however I am leaning more towards the Mazzulla Offroad front end. 18" of usable travel, 92" track width, can run up to 37" tires. Glad you want to spend $5k on a front end because that's what the kit costs. You still need shocks and tires though.

Ya, from my research it seems that everything is made out of chromoly, TIG welded, designed in CAD and laser cut out. Seems to be a very strong setup. It says it pulls 18" of travel so unstrapped it's probably in the low 20's somewhere. My buddy has the CST kit on his Chevy truck and he likes it but wouldn't recommend it for harsh use. He said he would go up to the Camburg from there and then Mazzulla above them both. You can see in the video link above and also on his MySpace page that the Mazzulla kit gets used pretty good.
