if you dont plan to do much wheelin and you wanna go wit 20s, id say go for a nice set of wheels.... dont get somethin cheap from pep boys. your def gonna wanna get a street tire instead of a mud terrain, dunno if yokohama makes like a 35" tire for a 20" wheel, but i liked my yokohamas i used to have. if you got the right tools and a lift suspension lifts arent that involved specially since urs is a 05' so you bolts shouldnt be to hard to get off, you could probably have the back done in under 2 hrs... the front is a little difficult and depending on the lift you get will determine how much you have to cut

If your looking for a lift in the next month I have a 6" skyjacker with full lift leaf springs in the back and wheels and tires that will be for sale. $800 for the lift, $800 for the wheels and tires. The tires have about 3000 miles on them so they are just like new. Pm me if your interested.

SkyJacker, Rancho, Fabtech, Trail Master, Rough Country are some of the best, and like JT said, RCD lifts are good for Chevy's and GMC. I say stay away from Pro Comp suspension lifs, **** I'd say stay away from Pro Comp everything. Too much hype and lil performance. I didnt read the whole thread but if you want some good *** performace in a tire(and in case if you do want to do some light off-roading,,,which you will every now and again) I'd say get some BFG AT's.
