What size tires? I personally hate body lifts but if you want to stuff some 35s cheap then go with a 3" body lift.

What kind of truck? GM, Ford, Dodge? If it is a GM they make a variety of torsion bar lifts that will give you a couple of inches of true lift in the front and an inch in the back. You can throw a 3" body lift on that and possibly run 36's. This could cost you around $500. If you go suspension, you are looking at around 4 times that, at least.
