if you plan on to wheeling the crusier i wouldn't go more than a 285/65/R18 which is roughly 33x11.50 and would be great on a 8.5-9" wide rim. if you go larger you will probably run into clearance issues

Im not a fan of black wheels but those are kinnda sexy they would probably look good what color is the FJ? and get atleast 10"wide if not 12" I love wide wheels I have 14" wides sitting in my bedroom right now

I wouldn't go no more than 9" wide and a 285/70/18 on the 3" lift, if you go to a larger tire and wheel you will be very very close on rubbing the under carrage of the truck along with the front body mount that is in the inner fender well which is a retarded place to put.

 

That thing with 35" tires is going to be a dog. I wouldn't run anything bigger than a 32" or 33", unless you swap out the ring and pinions. I ran 35"s on a '89 Nissan and it actually was worse (offroad and on)than when I had the 33's on it. For wheeling purposes, 31's are prob. idea. I'm not sure what kind of power those things make, but 35's are going to be tuff on a 6cyl. anything, without a gear swap. Can't wait to see some pics, sounds sweet.
