I would look into these
http://www.intercotire.com/site35.php
The NEW TrXus Mud Terrain is INTERCO'S answer to the need of those who want a smooth, super quiet ride with tough, thick sidewalls with a chip and cut resistant compound. This tire has more siping than any other mud terrain on the market; which has proven to be almost magical in icy snowy conditions. These same traction features make this tire a serious rock climber.

ok i guess ill say it lol. if you plan to run any kind of offroad tire it wont be good in the snow... plus the size plays a huge factor, your gonna want a tall tire but very narrow. look on tirerack and see the actual snow tire size for your truck... its probably narrower than stock size
that being said ive went through in the winter
-dunlop mud rovers
-goodyear mtrs
-bfg mts
NONE of which performed well in the snow on the roads
