Mine in wet have been flawless. Stuck to the road just fine with sperited take off and plows threw deep water just fine for me. As fo snow, what's that? Never heard of that down here.
Just to note, I have: 05 ccsb 5.3l, milled 799 heads, intake, exhaust, tune, 3.73, and 265/65-17.

Where are your AT3W made ? Have seen both Thailand and NewYork claimed as factory origin.
.
Also, if you dont mind:
how many miles on, and percent of remaining tread ?
Thanks.

dose the location they are made matter that much when they are a good tire? i havent had a chance to check mine but a quick google search for a large rez side wall pic and it shows Thailand.
at the 3 o'clock of rim area.
as for mile i have 12k on 2 of mine that i have left as 2 were just replaced because of punctures from screws too close to the sidewall to repair. as for % of life left on the 2 i would say like 85% or so still. most of the ware is on the edges when they are on the front when turning.

Finally HAVE A winter traction Report:
Falken AT3W work very well at highway speed on hardpack snow, and surprisingly stable on smooth ice.
Wet sloppy snow from a full stop is fair to good, breakaway traction in wet snow is maybe 60% of that from BLIZZAK, which is pretty good.
These are certainly not near BLIZZAK standard, but the AT3W is a very good winter tire, and really good considering it's QUIET road manners, predictable handling on wet roads, and water crossings.
I can recommend the Falken AT3W for year round road service.

pretty old thread, but the E-range A/T3Ws on my 2500 when i bought it did okay in the SD snow last winter (much better than the original 2012 design Wild Peaks on my last GMC), however, they don't touch the X-ATs i replaced them with. i drove halfway across the country in the snow on them last December & they were solid.
