Buddy has an 01 Blazer ZR2 and is to offroading. He was hoping to pick up one spare CV shaft for an offroad trip. Autoparts store has two part numbers for it, one for the right and one for the left. The shafts are the same length and diameter. Why would these things be different left to right?

 

i am trying to think are one of those reverse threads at the end of the shaft?

 

no he said they are both standard right hand thread.

 

well if the bolt wholes line up then it should work
