Default bolt on lifts for 99-06 chevy/gmc

Does anyone know of any strictly bolt on 6" lifts for a 06 sierra. 4 wheel parts wants 530 dollars to install a 6" inch pro comp on my truck. Supposebly there is only two things that have to be cut off and one bracket welded in place but the rest is simply bolt on. Is this true and has anyone done this themselves or know how difficult it is (the bracket needing to be very precisely in line that may give some difficulty if you havent done it before)? I have background experience with suspensions but none with installing a lift. Is there any kit out there that is good and simply bolt on (no welding or drilling)?

I am pretty sure anything 6" or larger require a cut and weld of a bracket on the front.

Rough Country offers a true bolt on 6" kit, but I don't know much about it.
