lol maybe something to make things like this a little better

Anthony

I would go with a name brand lift, thats been put to the test time and time again instead of an off brand, what I would do is lift it to put 33's under it first and then throw a locker in it, that should help you out off road, the G80 sucks

So you want to level the truck out or lift it, but nothing crazy, and the first link is a 7" lift?

3" body lift, 285/75R16's and keep the G80 if this is your daily.

Id personally go with some 3" lift spindles, fabtech, procomp, etc.. Stay with a bigger name company. Get some wheels and 33's a/t or m/t whatever you prefer. You dont need a new gear set (depending on what you already have) but if you do throw a limited slip in there. You'll be happy!

If you hit a hole like that with a big lift you could end up upside down. put some spacers up front a locker in the rear and some 33in mud tires on the truck if you want decent performance for your money. you dont cheap out on lift kits. big lifts will cost you big money. you have to factor in tires, gears, the locker.

Up front i did a 3" CST coil w/ new upper control arms. Out back i went back to the stock shackle and added a Z71 block w/ u bolts. Sits just a bit higher than a stock Z71 and rides great. Has just a slight front rake. (Sig pic is before lift.)
