depends on if your willing to trim any crank the bars or stuff like that. for sure a 285 on about any wheel and i have heard of 305s and 315s fitting on stock wheels. for example i have between 7-8" of lift on my halfton and i run 36x14.5 tires with no rub anywhere but i do have quit a bit of cutting done

i think 287/75/16 on stock rims looks good. I have 295/75 now and don't like them. they are too wide for the rims.

I am not opposed to different wheels. I just want a beefier look and don't see a suspension lift anytime soon.

I guess the question that I really have is can I fit 33's on my 2500HD 4x4 without any issues?

for a 3/4 ton, you can fit 305 on stock rims. with a b/l, you could probably fit 35's.

I went with 285/75/16s Nitto Terra grapplers and they rub a little bit on a 16x8 wheel.
