if my 07 sierra is a work truck,then why did it over heat when i towed my sons`s small talon tsi home? and it was in tow mode!

I don't know, it's your truck.

Why don't you try troubleshooting the problem instead of whining about it. And a "work truck" package just means it doesn't have any of the fancy features, it is a bare bones model.

It's a work truck not a tow truck?

It probably has a 4.3 or 4.8 with no rear gear and had to work too hard to tug a 3000 lbs car plus whatever the trailer weighs. My 4.8 when it had 3.23s and 20" JGP wheels would have a tough time pulling my ski boat, I doubt it would have towed a vehicle set up like that.
