4.5" backspacing, the truck is up about 2" in the front, there is a ton of clearance with the stock 7"s.

8s look OK if you don't have fender flares. But if you have flares you need something wider.

My friend has 285's on stock wheels and they look good! an 8" wheel would look real Good IMHO 10" are to wide for 285's

Heck I ran 10" wheels with 38" ground Hawgs and they were Perfect! No way I would run a 285 on a 10" wheel, to me sidewalls Blown out like that Look stupid.... But it's Your truck......it will also effect ride quality cause the sidewall can't flex like it's supposed to cause you got it Pulled tight!

Pewterliftedz ,Your wheels look Great thats a Nice stance your truck has Very nice!Thats the way a Sidewall is supposed to Look!

Hopefully you'll like the 8" wheels...I run the same size tire on 10" wheels...I've had the Helo Maxx6 w/ 4.5" of backspacing and -27mm offset, and I've run them for nearly two years...never a problem, and I think it looks tough...if you ask me. I'm now running Mickey Thompson Classic II's with the same stats and I think it looks great too. Here's a pic of both. Like I said...hope you like it. If not, you can always change...no harm no foul.

This is with 2.5" leveling kit and no lift and Helo Maxx6 16x10 w/ 285x75x16 MT's

This is with a leveling kit + 3" body lift and M.T. Classic II's 16x10 same backspacing and offset with the same tires

Looks perfect. What are your fender measurements?

I love the look of your truck and it makes me wonder what mine would look like with a 10". I will try to take some pics of mine in the next couple of days and post them up.

My fenders measure 41 3/16" in the front and 41.5" in the rear. It's perfect IMO. Again...I'm running 285x75 R16 on 16x10's with 4.5" of backspacing and -27mm of offset.
