Default What tools to remove driveshaft bearing support?

The support bearing assembly on my 03 Sierra 1500 needs to be replaced. I purchased the appropriate bearing support assembly, and I'd like to know what tools some of you have used to remove the old and install the new assemblies. I have a shop manual, but thought experienced hands here may have "better" solutions. Thank you.

I couldnt get mine off for nothing.. took it to the driveshaft shop and they put it on their 80 ton press.. it was rough.

I started to get a grinder and cut off wheel after it, but didnt wanna mess anything up.

Found a nearby driveline shop that can do the work and check the Ujoints while they're at it. Thanks for your input.
