Does anyone know of a chop saw that can double as a miter? or vice versa? I don't really want to drop dollars on two different saws if i can find a table saw that can cut both wood and metal.

 

well, a chop saw is usually made out of all metal, a regular miter saw has some plastic... If you cut metal with a plastic mitor saw or the saw has some plastic it will melt it... ask me how i know... Now i have one for each...
