Hey I went to habor freight tool store I saw air comp 60 gallon 165 psi two stage compressor u.s. general. Do you think its good one?

IMO...harbor has ok tools...you can find some tools pretty enexpensive especially if you just need to use that tool once or very rarely....i dunno about there compressors..but if you are going to be using it alot i would probably not buy one....but thats just me

 

Honestly i never ever buy anything that uses electricity from harbor freight. The parts never last, at least in my opinion.

 

Okay. I'd like use more often so what about lowes or other. I prefer keep under 750 not know if the price will match?

 

I've had a Craftsman 30 gal air compressor working well for 6 years now, don't know what their new stuff is like though.

 

I have a Campbell Hausefield big boy out in my garage I can't use because the garage is only 120V.

It is in really good shape with nearly no use. I got it from a guy that didn't have a plug to run it at his house. We moved from our house almost as soon as we got it, all we did is let it build pressure and never did anything else. At the last house, it stayed covered by a tarp. When we moved to this house after almost 4 years, the silly thing was still holding 150PSI.

Which do you think I should go for this two links need to pick one. I know I have to make wired for 230 volts in garage should be ok? I will depend more air tools and able ok to use paint gun. Let me know

I would go with the Kobalt. It is cheaper and has better specs than the IR and is likely made by Campbell-Hausfeld for Lowes. I have a CH 60gal I bought from Lowes on clearance several years ago and it is holding up very well. I see that they do not carry a CH branded 60gal anymore so that is what leads me to believe the Kobalt is actually a rebranded CH.

 

The last oil-less Kobalt compressor I purchased lasted six years, then the regulator gave out. I understand it is difficult to get replacement parts for Kobalt compressors.
