So i line up a race for my buddy, he has a Mitsubishi Evo 9 MR, against another friend with an 09 6.2 denali tuned with tq converter, he thinks since its a 4 cylinder he is going to own him, turns out the evo leaves him by 6 lengths, all from a dig. So a camaro with quite a big cam calls out my buddy with the evo, they race, the evo leaves him by 3 lengths or so. He now has it in his head that he is a "V8 Killer".. that doesnt fly to well with me! a zo6 pulls up to a meet the other day and all of a sudden his evo is "low on gas" i told him to be back next friday for a run? any predictions on how this race will go?

so i found that out after the race with the cammed camaro! says he has a stock turbo just a bigger blow off valve.

haha so i saw! well not real sure man, my buddy with the denali asked him if he had a huge turbo or something, he said no stock turbo just a bigger blow off valve? it sounds sick at cruise when he shifts, even better when racing!

 

It's not an EVO but my son has a 91 trubo AWD talon, We put 292 cams, clipped & ported the turbo, multilayer head gasket, wastedump header, 6 puck clutch, Cranked the boost up to 20psi, And this thing is stupid fast, leaving at 5000 RPM, launches like a B**ch & hooks, No camaro or stang can even stay close, were thinking somewhere in the 375-385 hp range....

 

since they have AWD, they can hook and book! If the z06 can get traction, it will win. if its the c6z06. if its a c5z06, i kinda doubt it on the street

 

Evo will out run him everytime from a dig! AWD launches are no joke man! Tell them to go from a roll instead so the Z06 wont spin.

I know some of the evo and srt4 guys claim that a bigger BOV helps them hold more boost compared to stock?! idk

But **** these days everyone has every bolt on possible and still calls it stock. hahaha

 

haha yeah thats what im sayin, i mean no offense he is a friend of mine, but i just want him to lose to a v8 this time, he says he wont do a roll because thats not a real race, but hey whats the harm of it right? And im trying to get him to race another buddy with a supercharged cadillac sts v, so there doing that one tomorrow.
