Default Tire size suggestions

I purchased a 99 Silverado RCSB that is currently lowered with 22" al-terrain wheels. Tires are 265-35-22 fronts / 285-35-22 rears. The truck rides like crap. It rough as hell when hitting bumps and dips in the road.

My plan is to replace the lowering spindle knuckles with stock ones, returning the front to stock height. Remove the rear lowering kit and install a "leveling" kit.

I'm selling the 22's and going with 20's. I have found some nice Trail Blazer SS repro's in 20x9 front / 20x10 rear.

What size tires would you guys recommend for that size wheel(s) ??

This is how the truck looks like at the moment.

Thanks in advance for all you help and input !

If it's gonna be stock height other than shackles, I'd go with a 285/50 or a 275/45 at the shortest... just my .02$!
