that's what I was thinking but I second guessed due to the glare it caught from the sun.

KBB private party =$6932 KBB dealer price = $8,855
NADA TRADE IN = $6350 NADA dealer price = 9,000

I always heard that NADA spits out low numbers. guess not. hopefully it doesn't get to this point (ie they find my truck unharmed), but any guesses to what the insurance offers if it is not recovered? it's going to **** me off if they come back and say they plan to pay something silly like 5k for the truck. trying not to jump to conclusions, but everyone's heard the insurance horror stories. Geico has always taken great care of me in the past, but I've never had a claim anywhere near this crazy.

anyone on the forum "in the insurance biz"

Used to work for Geico. You'll get private party resale less your deductible. Still hope you get it back man.

Sorry to hear. I'll keep my eyes peeled in the Katy area.

Any luck with your neighbor's video?

no telling for sure. Matt's was found 9 days after being stolen at the border taxi'ing illegals across the border. I didn't realize how nice/clean the truck was until I started looking at what it would cost to replace it with something similar. people run their **** into the ground and think it's worth gold!
