This is the reason I stopped taking my GMC to Houston if I'm going to be down there overnight. I take my work truck.

Sorry to hear about this man. If I spot it down that way I'll be sure to call. That's always been a super clean truck. Hope you get it back.

Thanks man, I got pretty weary about taking it into certain parts of town, but when you have the scum follow you home like a hungry puppy, there isn't much you can do.

I do miss Alaska, everything stayed where it was. I hate being so paranoid I can't enjoy the fruits of my labor/money for fear of some ******* taking it or messing with it.

I live 2hrs out of Houston and literally leave my keys in the ignition at the grocery store... It's not like this everywhere. But as soon as I leave my little town, everything is locked up tight.

same way here I grew up in a house and town where we never even locked the doors to our house and in 35 years I recall we've never had a incident. But alas times are a changin with the influx of oilfield people and traffic to our little area it's locked up tight now.

Feel terrible man. The rats really are pathetic. Can't drive and park mine anywhere either. I'd say by this point the truck is in pieces.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it is. Haven't seen it on the local news for breaking down the front door of a convenience store yet.

I've never said it was, nor do I care, look at my comments. Although, using rudimentary statistics based on population (hispanics are the largest group in the Houston area), statistics places that ethic group in the highest probability for the theft, as It places them as the largest probability to be the person in front of you driving down the road. I could make an assumption based on where I live, but I won't as generally there isn't allot of crime in my area, and I believe I was followed home. It could be a purple guy or a ninja for all we know, Houston is one large melting pot. I don't care who stole it, I just hope they get shot steeling another one in the future.
