racist and ignorant person!!

If I may step on my soap box for a second......
I'm not sure why people get so offended at things that are for the most part true.
There are certain things that you don't say and certain things that are truly ignorant, but I'm not sure why people are so quick to pull the race card.
If you ever go to a garage sale, have a garage sale, or sell anything used in Texas you are going to be greeted with Mexican people. Speaking from 5 years of experience, most mexican people will try and lowball you or ask you "what's your lowest price". Does that mean I'm racist? Of course not, it's just an observation.
I suppose I could be racist in assuming that a guy with the email address JGarcia@austin.rr.com is mexican, but it's just the truth. It doesn't upset me that he lowballed me, and it shouldn't upset him that I expect him to.
White people don't get mad when you make generalities about us. Hell, I find almost all of them funny.
-Black people like rap music(I do too)
-Mexican People like garage sales(who doesn't like nice cheap stuff?)
-White people like cheap crap at Walmart(every redneck in the world shops at walmart)
-Asian people like rice(my little asian grandma goes through a 30 pound bag a month)
Just because I made those statements doesn't mean I'm racist. They are just general observations that are much more true than false.
There are plenty of much more harsh statements one can make, but you can use your imagination on those.
I have plenty of hispanic, black, asian, and white friends all of whom I enjoy their company as much as the other.
Don't be so quick to pull the race card. Think hard, and thing to yourself, "That guy is probably right."
