Nothing worse than breaking the transmission at the track and getting towed home.

it was white about 5ft wide and 3ft long it might have moved after i ran it over but it was just outside of crandal in the left lane headed back west towards dallas. no damage to my tires i checked them over.

being that you still had full engagement of reverse i bet the forward band broke on it. 1st and R are the same gear just uses a different band to engage them. im pretty sure no hard parts were damage just a fault band that let go.

Now I can say I've blown a trans and an engine.On that note, I feel for ya. My engine blew 2 wks. ago and I'm going to 6.0.
I've been reading trans threads and I'm skeerd to admit that I should go Stage 5 on my FLT. Just not prepared for the cost.
