North Dallas DS installation?
#1
Besides Stan Hopkins who else can do driveshafts? I was told there is a guy in Mckinney that is good, and I will be calling him tomorrow. But I'd like several options. I either want a new one made to work correctly, or install my 2 piece if it isn't too much. I messaged BRM a while back and never got a reply since they've been busy building cars. I'd like something around Mckinney/Frisco/Plano are preferably as the truck is down and will need to be towed.
Thanks in advance guys, I'll also try to dig up any old threads.

With your drop, you were probably rubbing the crap out of the driveshaft. With a 1 piece you're gonna need a 5" driveshaft which isn't feasible with the underside clearance. Solution would be a stock 2 piece DS.

I had never had issues with rubbing, but I did hit a huge dip in the highway when it gave out, I was also going a tad fast.
I just need a quick turnaround since I'm having a hard time finding a new DD around Texas.

No, I understand what you're getting at. But after a year of being 8" in the rear I've never really rubbed. Obviously there is a greater chance with the larger diameter 1pc.
I have a 2pc and want it installed. But I don't weld...I need the xmember installed.
