Anyone have any tips of where not to look for a house?

Also Shortly after moving I will be looking for a shop that can do a ZF6 swap on my RCSB. Any recomendations?

It really depends on what side of the DFW you are moving.

 

I'm looking for a house within 30mins of love field airport but I'm willing to drive farther for a quality shop.

 

I retired from the military and I am now living in Arlington, TX. There are tons of performance vehicles around here.

 

Welcome to the area man! Generally speaking, North and East of Love Field is going to be a bit nicer, although, nice areas can be found in just about any town. I recommend using Trulia to at least get a sense of the demographic and crime rate for a particular area to help narrow your search.
