Looking for CLEAN 04' -06' Sierra or Silverado VHO or vortec max.
I'm in the Saint Louis area. However I am willing to travel for the right truck.

Just in case: There is a VHO pickup with the LQ9, that I think comes only in 4 door. You know the Silverado SS pickups had the same LQ9, but were all extended cabs. They have great looking body kits on em, and came in RWD or AWD. There was also the Sierra Denali. Those came with the LQ9 (pretty sure in Ext cab and 4drs, had a different bed that looked great, and nice interiors. Those came in AWD.
Anyone of those and you are going to pay a premium for. I know I've semi recently seen a black and a white Sierra Denali.

I have no problem paying for the "right" VHO. Really would like to have the sierra but those are even more rare. This would mean color, condition and all..
I appreciate your reply.

Anyway it kinda sucked having to pull it as most of the body tape was still holding REALLY well, and it was a chore to get it all cleaned off so I could put new tape on and re-install the cladding. I'm with you though fit and finish (original) is pretty good. Two SS's in the driveway and IMO they look great. I think a lot of the clone trucks they just tack that crap on however they can, missing brackets, and a lot of times the kits are fiberglass copies of the originals anyway. That stuff almost never looks good without a ton of effort involved.

My buddy has been into collision for 35 years. Owned his own shop for 30. He's had a few come through over the years. Had alot of fitment issues with rear bumper tailgate pieces. He seems to think there's been a change of manufacturers even on a few of the GM parts available for the SS's. Cool trucks but when it comes to bodywork he cusses them alot...lol
