Wasn't quite sure what kind of response this was going to get... needless to say I got some good laughs from you guys. Weather really isn't a big deal to me, I actually enjoy it. I've lived in Michigan and dealt with sub-zero weather and however many feet of snow. Arkansas, while I was there, the winters were below freezing with ice and snow, then the summer was up in the high 90's low 100's with the air completely saturated -look like you've been working out and all you've been doing is standing. Lived in Oklahoma and about near laughed my head off when I moved to San Antonio and people were talking about wind. A good gust to me is something the tops 50+ mph. Shoot, the base that we were at in Oklahoma flew C-5's, C-17's, etc (heavy's are awesome) anyway, one night a storm came through and actually moved one of the planes a few feet -that, my friends, is a gust. And yes, having lived in Texas the last three-four years, I've driven around and worked in 110+ temps. So yeah, I've just about seen it all, ok, maybe not quite, but I've seen a lot in my short life.
I do agree though, the rain has been needed for quite some time.
One more thing, just for kicks. Several years ago when my pops got back from Iraq. We were at a cookout at church, he's standing next to a grill in mid-90 degree weather and asked me to go grab his jacket. Talk about acclamating.

The rain is definitely welcome. We haven't had any real rain, since the Hurricane around my place and before that, it was months before that. I'm tired of buying hay and seeded pasture grass yesterday, common rain.
