Default how bad is weather hurting you?

well i have a 2000 silverado single cab 5.3. my previous best slip was in the winter which consisted of lt headers,ud pulley,cai,410 gear, tci 3500,tsp224 cam,27' et street and i ran a 8.25 with a 1.81 60' in the eighth.

since then i put a custom grind cam,prc stage 2.5 cnc ported 5.3 heads and a cirlce d 4000 stall. i went to baytown and ran a 8.25 1/8 and a 13.002 1/4 at 103 with a 1.83 60'. i would think i should still be running better in the bad weather we have? my shift points are set 1-2 6300 2-3 6400... should i be shifting higher? im not sure what the problem is!

any suggestions would be nice!

any of you guy's have personal best and running know were near that time in this weather?

With this 100+ degree weather it can take away a good .3, .5, maybe more seconds away from your time slip. I can't even drive mine without it over heating... i have to wait for night time
