Default Regal Performance by dallas any good??

I just spoke with a guy named Ron, hes a engine builder in the dallas area. Said he deals mosly in LS based engines.

Just wanted to know if he's any good cuz he gave me a pretty good price on a new LQ9 shortblock. He said his ebay store name is Street Rod engines, and his shop is Regal performance

Never heard of him either.

But i think i've ran across his store online. Yea. DAMN good price on the short blocks he offers but IIRC they were stock pull outs and haven't been touched internally by him. If it's the same guy it could be worth getting one of those instead and building it new yourself.

i dont really know how to build an engine myself. He said he can get all parts new, and said i could get a shortblock for about $1800. thats just a basic shortblock, meaning block, crank, rods, pistons. no cam or lifters on anything like that. sounds like a really good deal to me for all new parts
