im certified to do inspections in texas and the only things i checked for visually was lights, tint, wipers. never did care for checking anything.. as i was usually jaw dropped by doing the inspections on some high end vehicles in my area lol. but yeah make sure you have a good gas cap cause the computer will fail it for that as well and other obdII stuff

always roll my windows before i pull in. never been hassled really besides last year when i had my switchbacks on. they didnt wanna pass it cause of them but told them to hit the turn signals and the manager just walked away and didnt say anything. rest of the guys proceeded to be in awe of how low the truck was. need to tune the cats out ASAP to pass inspection for next month

I had my windows tinted on my old truck about 3-4 times because of either inspection or tickets,the tickets I felt were from profiling on my truck because it was decked out with big rims and dark tint and a loud system. That's neither here nor there but luckily I have a buddy that does tint when I need it redone.

Yep, i go to the same place have been for years... Last time the truck would barely idle, and it kept dying while the guy was moving it around, tune was WAY OFF!! Then they left it running in the bay, cammin like a ****, truck was just rockin back and forth (old cam and motor).... So a whole herd of the dumbasses look under the hood and notice the headers, then the gauges in the cab, then they look under it!!!! then the guy said why do you not have duals... I was just like, hmmmm, i am not cool enough i gues...
I can get you a sticker... But it's $60 and you don't even have to take your truck in...
