I thought you got tuned this weekend?

 

well..... i knew it was running horribly, and it was surging and missing, so corey helped me out and data logged my truck and said the tune was complete

he said it was so bad that i dont even need to be doing any wot pulls cause of how lean it is up top

i'll be getting a good tune sometime here pretty quick hopefully....

 

ya garrets tune has a few issues.... First off it is not going into PE at all.... we did a long WOT run and it never richened up at alll, it just stayed at 14.68 the whole time... so that is horrible for the engine plus it will never get the added spark from the fuel spark correction table... the tuner turned off sooo many emissions tests, ones that did not need to be turned of, so it wont pick up any problems. also if the tuner took 5 min to log the damn truck he would have saw that there is an issue with Bank 2, either an exhaust leak or o2 sensor problem and he would have also noticed that the truck is not going into PE...

 

Yeah, he's funny as hell. My gf bought us tickets for Christmas, as well as some Lloyd SSS floormats shes the best! We might make it out to the track before going to the Dane cook thing depending on what we drive up there and how far it is from the aa center. She's supposed to be getting a stage 2 ss/sc cobalt pretty soon so of she gets the car before next weekend we'll bring that up there and I'll take it down the track for a couple passes if not we will be in my SSS and I know it's slow so no need to run it again, lol

 

When i went last year with some friends, im glad we didnt take the girls with us. There were good lookin girls EVERYWHERE i was like WTF??

Well, just found out we'll have the car next Wednesday so perfect timing. If we can get up there early enough we're gunna come by the track. Anyone know the prices for running that day? I think it was like 25 when I was there in august but I can't remember. Someone pm me their number so I can at least get ahold of you guys when I get there and meet everyone. I'm expecting some pretty good times out of this little go cart just gotta work on my stick shift driving...been about 6-7 years since I've driven a manual.

 

Weather is looking great for the 5th, High of 56* Low of 41*....
