Question Camshaft help

Gentlemen and Ladies,

Wanting to ask a question about camshafts. I need to do a dodafm delete on my 1500 truck (2015 gmc 6,2 liter 4x4).but want to keep the factory converter. My question is Stage 2 or Stage 3 .to go with. Has anyone ever run the 216/220 .. low lift stage 3 with a stock stall ? Just need your opinions . Thanks in advance.

P.S, Was told by other performance shops stage that that stage 3 is to much on the stock stall.

With the 8-speed tranny and that 4.56 first gear ratio I know a few people around me with hot cams and stock converters that drive around perfectly fine. So I can't see were it would be a problem for you. Some guidelines are going by the older 4L60E and 4l80E gear ratios that would need a converter IMO.

I think a "stage 2" would overall be a better driver and easier to tune with the stock stall.
