That's what I have: stock 5.3 with 317 heads and a shortened STS kit. My turbo actually sits next to the trans. oh and I have a 76mm turbo with 10psi.

I had a hell of a deal with mine and that's why I did STS vs front mount.

Seeing that TRT isn't around anymore... I only spent 2Gs on my kit w/ install

 

Damn see that the kinda deal i was talkin bout..lol.. Is it a stock bottom end or arp'd.

Another thing i was worried about is if i went 76 would that be to much turbo and not enough exhaust to push it, causing lag. Were a 76 on a 6.0L would be better. I guess a 76 to start with would be ok cuz we could always grow into them like clothes lol..

 

Stock bottom end and stock 317s and I would say just stick with a 76 bc like you said there is always room to grow!

 

Thats what i had in mind and once its outgrowed go twins lol.. I've been lookin at the one from MasterPower and its like 5-600 bucks not to bad i dont think..

 

Hey Kenny if you decide to go with a front mount or overall different set up you can always donate the old one to me so i can make the hoe a little faster
