Considering getting a group of friends together to go up there for the weekend the next time NASCAR comes through. Id take my fifth wheel up there to stay in and do the whole camping experience. Is there anything I should know besides what is posted on the internet?

Never been to Texas speedway but me and my dad went to California speedway a couple years back and it was awesome. Make sure to get pit passes.

 

i havent been to texas motor speedway, but i did go to vegas. it was a blast. MUCH better than watching them on tv. def. get pit passes. you can also rent radios and listen to the teams....

 

i went the first 3 years they had them at texas

 

id recommend it cody! its a great time but id go to the race later in the year as the first race falls usually when its 100*+. thats my recommendation.

 

It does bode for a good time.

WARNING: There will be more people there than you could dream about and be prepared to see some nasty, nasty *****. But if you get drunk enough it's all in good fun.

P.S. Bring lots of beads in order to see said *****.

I was there once with the driving school I worked at (probable have about 400 laps around the track, it rained and we had to try to help dry it with rental cars and then driving the school cars too) and probably worked 3-4 races there when I working for race teams. Its a cool track, I really like it.

 

i went to the truck race in october or whenever it was, i think we are going to get tickets for it again this year
