decided differently with the 80e swap. this is a 2003 4l80E built by a member on here that rebuilds trannys for a living. also is a yank 3000 converter.

tranny by its self= 1100$(trans has the tabs cut of, so you can run headers with no clearence issues,also the previous, previous owner dropped it and it chipped off the top bolt holes. but it has been ran like this for a year with no problems)
converter by itself=700$(this converter is made so you dont have to use the spacer behind the flexplate)

1800$ together
