I just did this a few hours ago so I could use my Zen with the Aux connectors on my Kenwood head unit. I used a Y-connector that plugs into the headphone port of the MP3 player (the sound needs to be all the way on the Zen ), the other end has your red and white (I think) Component (Maybe composite ) connectors. I dressed every thing under the guage cluster, behind the AC/Heater controls and out the little empty place next to the passenger airbag cutoff. I even ran my OBDII cable for the Flashscan while I was at it.

Monday I need to fab up a DB-9 Feedthrough for that black cover I removed. I'll get some pics if everything turns out OK.

what model pioneer do you have? the majority of the pioneer H/U's (if not all of them) require you to buy an adapter that goes in on the back that lets you make use of the aux input. it's the header on the back of the h/u that's about half inch by half inch and has about 12 pins or so in it. gimme the model number and I can help you with it.
