Default What alternator is in my truck?

I'm working on a 1998 Chevy K2500 Regular Cab 4x4 Pickup and plan to install a second battery. To properly install the second battery, I'm going to also install a dual battery isolator. Before I can buy the right isolator, the techs from Sure Power needs to know what alternator is in my truck.

All I can see is that the alternator says Delphi Automotive Systems on it and has the number 124 on a small side-face of it.

Cars.com says the Standard Equipment for this truck is a 100 amp alternator.

Does anyone know how to figure out what alternator is in this truck?

Thanks,
Robert

Look closer on the alternator. It should have the part number and the amps engraved on it. It will say amps after the number. Should be on the diameter.
