Default What Acc. power source to tap into

Messing around with a headunit for my 2004 silverado and was wondering what 12V accessory power source you guys would suggest for tapping the red wire into.
Thanks

Run a power wire over to the fuse panel. Use a spade connector on a terminal that is hot. Thats the way mine was on a 2006.... there isnt a acc on the newer trucks.

Okay thanks, so i can run it to an open terminal or do i have to run it in a terminal that has a fuse in it? Also is there any suggestions for a head unit 200$ and under. The one i had going in dose not have an ipod hook up so im going to pick up another. Dont need anything crazy, just wanna run my ipod and a basic sub.

Sorry I have not been on here lately. I have a RCA adapter that works with a iPod. Really cheap too. If you would like I can post pictures of my install and maybe that will help you out. That is if you haven't already got it in by now.
