i got one interceptor scan gauge, its awesome and does almost every function you can think off, lots of good info, and then a boost gauge in my dual pod mount. this gauge also monitors trans temps and IATs.

I, myself, would do the engine oil temp, fuel pressure and egt. Or, swap the oil temp for a boost/vac if you plan to get a blower some time. I don't see spending $50 on non-wideband a/f lightshows. Get gauges that tell you something.

A narrow band will tell you "something". I mainly use my narrow band for track/nitrous purposes. After I first installed the gauge, of course it does the whole light show riding around....when I ran it at the track, it would stay right where it was supposed to be. When I first started spraying the truck, I noticed it was now moving over to the rich side every pass. I played it off as the gauge was wrong because everybody on here talks about how bad they suck, don't tell you anything, etc. Finally we got to screwing around with the nitrous kit one day and checked the jets. Sure enough there was too big of a fuel jet being used. Replaced the jet and everything was where it was supposed to be again going down the track and for some reason the truck woke up alot more.

My $50 was well spent in my opinion. I have no tuning software, so a wideband would just be several hundred dollars worth of useless numbers for me to look at and wish I could do something about. I do have ls1-m for logging passes as well.

I think my several hundred would be more benefitial being spent somewhere else....at least until I had the software to do something about it.

get you one that tells you the outside temp!!!

j/k....

I would have suggested the tranny temp meter but since you already have it on you gauge cluster, nevermind...

I know they sell some 1k-8krpm meters that are that size too??
