Default Top vent gauge pod

Wanted to run an afr gauge and really couldn’t find anything that accept a single gauge for the a piller .

I also wasn’t to excited about having to paint it either . As aero force offers a awesome single / dual top vent gauge pod for the camaros , I wanted to find something like that . Unfortunately, no dice . No one ever made one . So had to have one made up . Let me know what y’all think .. it’s still rough but I’ll will clean it up later and paint it .

I like it. I would like to do something similar with my UltraGauge to get rid of the suction cup mount. I do have concerns with screwing it to the dash considering how brittle they tend to get. ( I assume that is what the slot is for) Double stick tape may work better and not compromise the weak plastic.

The SEM 17113 Graphite matched my interior trim perfectly. Not sure for the newer trucks though. In the second pic I only sprayed the pod not the pillar so you can see how close the match is.

That’s nice ! Yeah I’m thinking I’m gonna have to sand it down and put a texture on it like a hammer tone look. My dash kinda orange peel texture then paint it black .
