I'm hooking up a Jensen Flip-Out Head Unit in my 05 gmc sierra. Right now I have a kicker amp and 2 subs hooked up by tapping into the factory rear speaker wires. I wish to use rca's to hook my amp to this new head unit. But, the sub preamp on the unit has only 1 rca jack that is blue and says sub mono. My amp has the standard red/white inputs. How would I hook this up?

 

1 male-2 female rca splitter....use em all the time at work

You only need one rca cable for a mono signal which is what you use for a sub. If you ever wanted to run stereo off that rca jack then you would need a splitter like said above.
