IIRC ... Driver side is 1.28ft3, passanger side is 1.18 ft3. Used 2.5" PVC for my port, They're far from pretty, but they get the job done, and have been for the last 3 years. I had a pair of 10" MB Quart Premiums with the 23.5lb magnets until I finally blew one up, the boxes were tuned to 30hz with the MB Quart subs, don't know what they are with the JLs.
I'm off tomorrow, I'll see if I can get the measurements for them. I just never had the time to carpet them, and after I got them in, I never wanted to take them out to get them carpeted. They're pretty well hidden, so I'm not REALLY worried what they look like.

Call them up, talk to them.. If the sub you have is in its suited air space, no reason it should sound bad, unless you are not tuning the sub and amp, eq correct..

I was actually going to say take out your middle/jump seat in your truck and get a custom enclosure made to go in that space. Good call on that idea.
You can custom build you a box to go in the middle of the seats and get more airspace out of it if you wanted closer to about 2.0cuft or so and put in a much better 12" sub. That custom center console looks pretty good, but you can make your own for less. If you make one yourself you can make it a little bit taller plus a little longer and without the cupholders / notch in the box to gain more airspace.
Just make sure the shifter won't hit the box, but that is what measuring is for.

Now I just need to know which direction to mount the sub. dimensions i am thinking 13 x 14.5 x 28. I am thinking a 1 cubic foot box behind pass seat for the spg 555. unfortunately there isnt alot of info online.

So I am thinking that piece is 56 x 15 so a leg 8 inches on bottom 4 inches on top and mount the sub reversed so the magnet is out. but where do i mount the sub middle? towards the bottom?
