Default Sub and amp advice

I have an 07 Sierra Denali classic with factory nav and was recently given an alpine mrp-m350 amp and 12" DUAL subs. What is the easiest way to install these myself and which wires do i tap into? Any help would be great!!!

yes you will need a way to get rca outputs. and an acc is what you will need for your remote turn on for the amp. you will also need a good amp kit. 4 gauge or better.

Agree w/ everything but the amp kit. Unless your going to upgrade, 8 ga is good for up to 400 watts.

+1 check and see how many fuses are on the amp and if u have 30 amps or less u can even go 10 Ga. but 8 Ga. is not that more expensive. I have done a few of these trucks and you are going to want to pull the console liner out and mount your line level there. there is like 4 screws holding that in and, get the actual factory sub wires from there i beleive its something like (green, and blue with a black stripe and purple with a black stripe, and, another green and use the black stripes as your negatives its a DVC you will be able to tell because the wires are twised together.) thats what I have always done and it sounds alot better because its already a low frequency.

tag into a couple speaker wires preferably at the factory amp for you LOC to give you RCA preouts like tyler said. your acc wire under the steering column is orange or you can tap into the pink wire which is ignition(both wires are about 12ga. size). and like the guys already said 8ga. will be fine for that amp....

really i would do 4 gauge. its cheap and easy to run. also make sure you run the subs at 2ohm since that is the lowest the amp can have.

4ga. does not fit into that line of alpine amps, you can make it fit but you have to strip the wire down to 8ga. so just save yourself the trouble and run 8ga. and yes you need to run it at 2ohms bc if you run it at 8 ohms you wont hear very much

A distribution block would work fine. I always recommend going to 4 gauge, because for most people if they upgrade they add a comp. amp, or bigger sub amp, they can still run the 4 gauge with no problems.
