Like the title says-anyone know the specs on the stock speakers of a 2000 reg. cab. silverado-LS. I need to know what the operating Hz are of the fronts, rears, and tweaters. This system is 3-way right? Thanks.

 

6.5's up front, 4x6's in the rear.. Not sure on the frequencies.. I do however believe the front is just a 2 way, tweeter and mid.. I wouldnt even worry about the rears.. Just get a good set of front speakers and put a decent amp on them..

 

im not replacing yet-i need the hz to program my new alpine to them till i upgrade-thanks for the sizes though.

 

fronts are actually 6 3/4" bastard size. They are junk and will not last long with power.

 

yeh they already are sounding like crap-time for something new I guess
