O.K. Since nobody liked my el cheapo way...

I put 2 - 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch subs in a custom built box in my daughters 240SX coupe. The amp is only pushing about 200 Watts so they are waaaaaayyyy underpowered, but they sound awesome. She can thump with the best of them.

By the way, I just replaced her Alpine head unit (skipped like crazy) with an Aiwa CDCMP32 MP3 player that is (quoting my daughter) "The coolest thing she has ever seen." Needless to say, I am expected a big Father's Day present.

 

first jl make a good 12 box for the ex trucks one 12 but sound great

if any know where i can find price one a eclipse head unit 5442 it would be great

i bought a box already made for an extended cab from a place called auto-thunder on spencer in pasadena. cost me about $50 if i remember right.
these are for 2 10" subs...

So far i have 2 10" Sony Xplod subs
1 rockford fosgate 150watt 2-way amp

next are the 6 1/2 in the doors and the 4x6 in the rear doors.. i think i'm going to do a full sony xplod system...with the exception of the amp and the 4x6 (they dont make xplods in this size i guess) i've never had a "sytem" so i'm curious to see what this will sound like.

 

02 z71 U can get 4" for the rear the sound better to the make a adapter kit i think 15 bucks
i got the adapter with my speakers mb quarts
