Default Stereo system

So since all my stereo **** was stolen when my truck was stolen. I have been thinking about what i want to put in next subwoofer wise. So me and Parke10 were thinking 1 JL 10w7 ported (but if not enough air space then sealed)powered by a JL HD 750.1 amp in a custom box in place of the center console. What do you guys think? Any ideas?

Sorry to hear about the system being jacked... I always like the sound of a sealed box in the standard cabs. I say sealed 10W7 or 2-TW5s if they are worth a damn. I haven't heard them yet but I am curious.

thanks man, ya i had 1 10 sealed and it was pretty loud and clean but i want more. And i did have the idea of puttin one tw5 in behind the seat but since i decided to have a box put where the the center console was i strarted to lean towards a 10w7. I head those tw5s sound pretty damn good tho, pretty close to the same as a w6 from what i have heard.

hey d reks im in bako also, i was wondering what you were trying to go for, sound wise. i have 2 8 inch ma audio subs in a wedge box that is 4 at top 8.5 at bottom and 54 inches wide and the subs face downward. i built it, sealed at first, but it needed to be ported, i used 2 3" inch precision flared ports that are 17 inches long and it sounds great, not the loudest ever, but it can hit lows very accurately, lows that I've heard 12's struggle with. i did it this way to get more room to scoot my seat back, and it came out real good for me, just food for thought.

that sounds good man. But after talking to the installers today at the shop i am sticking to the 1 10w7 in a custom fiberglass center console. Thanks anyways tho
